The Boulder Horse Show Association is a non-profit organization based in Boulder County that operates on the following principle: a quality equestrian lifestyle includes dedication to horsemanship, sportsmanship, education and fair competition. The association is inclusive of any breed of horse and any discipline of riding.

Our mission is to encourage members to improve their equestrian skills through horse shows and clinics.

BHSA tracks points in the following divisions: Western Pleasure, Stock Seat Equitation, Western Performance Horse (includes trail, western riding, reining, and open western pleasure), English Pleasure (Hunt Seat or Saddle Seat), English Equitation, and Showmanship. High point awards are distributed at the end of each year for each division by age group (11 & Under, 12-14, 15-17, and 18 & over). Additionally, all approved horse shows will include a BHSA-only pattern medal class. Winners from the medal classes will compete at the end of the year for the medal championship.
